This type of code is fully functional and supports all features offered by Provide Support. However, it supports only Modern Chat Window type. If you still use Classic Chat Window type you can switch to the modern one on the Account Settings / Chat Window Type page. While using Modern Chat Window, you will be able to customize its look and feel, change size and even chat button position on your website.
- Log into your Provide Support account Contort Panel
- Follow there My Account / Chat Button Codes page, click on Pure Javascript Chat Button Code and copy it
- In your Bigcommerce admin follow Storefront / Script Manager
- Click "Create a script" button, name the script
- Choose the script location. We recommend "Footer"
- Choose pages where the script will be added. We recommend adding it to all pages
- Choose "Functional" as your script category
- As a script type choose "Script"
- Insert your live chat script to "Script contents" field
- Press "Save" button to save changes
